Our company was founded on the American dream of making something from nothing and also most likely because Bruno Radtke was the lightbulb idea engineer type who couldn’t help but create things (it runs in the family). And so it was….. Built out of a basement shop to accommodate the war effort, B. Radtke and Sons, Inc. was founded by Bruno Radtke, in 1938 and has been a manufacturer and supplier of precision machined components for avionics, automation, electromechanical, fluid controls, and scientific instruments with a commitment to quality guarantee for over 80 years now. On top of our longstanding supplier relationship with a handful of major companies, B. Radtke and Sons, Inc. has acted as a reliable machine job shop for the Northern Illinois area since it’s inception.
Strong and resilient like the steel we shape for lasting bonds, Radtke Machining has crossed over Generations from founder Bruno Radtke, to Emil B. Radtke, to John A. Radtke, and is now in the 4th generation of Family Ownership with John J. Radtke heading the company. With eyes on the future of industry Radtke Machining looks to continue to advance it’s expertise in micro-machining processes while expanding into developing technologies as they evolve to suit our customers!
Our quality lies in our people and their commitment to making the best possible parts, efficiently, using expertise and intelligent machining principles to deliver print to parts accuracy and improved supply chain customer satisfaction. – John J. Radtke
